The Haircutter's Equation...

One 4 year old girl

one pair of scissors

Lots of locks found on the bathroom floor,

and

an emergency trip to the hairdresser,

who could only salvage so much.....

I really thought her bob haircut was short enough...apparently not.

But Miss Chooken likes it...kinda.


I should have seen it coming - many a doll lately has been to the "beautician".


I have two distinct memories of hair cutting at the same age.
1. Hiding behind the brown couch with my sister, "trimming" her hair.
2. Getting the Barbie curler stuck in the hair of my neighbour and cutting out a chunk from the top of her head. Her mum was furious with me. Sorry Sarah.


I hope Miss Chooken does not have similar aspirations ;).

The kind of treat you wear...

... all over your face. Well, you do if you are nearly two!

Miss Sunshine had a hard morning at physiotherapy, so I thought a nice chocolate biccies was in order. All good, except the melting all over the place part.

I would be worried about getting a kiss too...

I managed to get these shots before having a little chocolate hand wiped over my lap - thanks lovie!

Miss Chooken then used the distraction to pinch the camera and take some shots outside - what a sky!

And yesterday in the heat Miss Chooken washed her face and brushed her teeth especially for me to take a pic of her without any grot on her cute cheeks. I think she had heard me recently complain about not being able to get a photograph of the girls with clean faces. Miss Chooken dressed herself - she is loving choosing her own clothes lately. I just have to make sure she remembers her underwear and it is all good!!
